Varicocele causing pelvic pain

Thanks to everyone using this forum and Webslave. My background is I've had pain in the perineal area for 4 years and this awful CPPS has cost me my quality of life. I have recently started to have testicular pain and the scan revealed a Varicocele. Has anybody found these cause pelvic pain? There is a study by Gat et Al saying yes but prefer people telling me. Appreciate anything anyone can say / help. Thanks
