Have wondered about this in the past but both my parents have been diagnosed with cancer so it’s been on my mind.
My CPPS was severe at onset but managed well now and pain is mostly covered by medication. But I had months and months of severe pain and I know that some symptoms are simply masked so I assume inflammation is present and this can contribute to cancer. Just wanted to seek views and if there is any research or data around this?
Have considered getting a scan done but wanted to ask about this on here before I approach my GP. It’s been 3 years since onset.
Thanks.
