Was there useful discussion on the role of nerves in the noxious cycle (flare) and useful ways to cut short a flare once it begins. :boom: ? The same as to the anxiety vicious cycle.

Thank you for this window to the seminar and treatment. It sounds very focused and good.

Long Flights and long drives

Long flights and long drives often are the trigger for a full flare for me. How have you dealt with this issue on your long trip? :idea:

I don't tend to get flares from too much sitting - just an increase in pain which goes away pretty quickly with stretching and some triggerpoint work. I'm lucky enough to be flying business class - so I get one of those little booths with a seat that goes flat - though even with that the flight over felt looong.

I'll respond to your other question once I'm back in the UK - currently about to board my flight at SFO. We were shown a fascinating video of triggerpoints relating to stress and relaxation.
