Dr. Theoharides is Awarded $1,000,000 Grant
Dr. T.C. Theoharides/Tufts University School of Medicine just received
the "Notice of Grant Award" from NIH concerning Grant Number R01
DK062861 from NIDDK (USA), entitled "Acute restraint stress-induced
neurogenic bladder inflammaion". (Duration: 5/1/03-4/30/08; Direct
Cost/yr: $200,000) to study the effect of stress on bladder inflammation
in mice as a model for interstitial cystitis.
