Any thoughts about Dr.Zeitlin, I am going to see him before I give up totally.

I did the TRUS as you recommended. It showed nothing. No stones, no cysts. Prostate size was normal. He recommended to ejaculate more to get ride of the discharge. And I did, everyday for like 10 days and I didn't see the discharge, then on the 11th day I did.

This might sound stupid, but I wonder if its because I am, excuse my language, too horny of a guy. Because everytime I get an impure thought in my mind, I feel like this spasm in base of penis or pelvic area like something is getting pumped (prostate).

My last Semen culture showed 1-2 WBC hpf. Nothing grew but Alpha-Strep, which they contributed to skin contaminant.

I also have that problem, in which only happens in the morning. I wake up to urinate and the 1st session of urination, it takes 2 trys to get it all out. Sometimes I really have to relax myself for it to get out.

Please Advise.

Zeitlin is an average to good urologist. He has not really taken part in any online discussions, but has worked with Dr Shoskes, so he should know a few new concepts.

Why not get evaluated by Dr Anderson at Stanford? At least then you may have access to the Wise-Anderson Protocol.

The fact that you get spasms in your pelvis on the smallest provocation tells me that your nerves and muscles in that region are hyper-irritable. You are another typical pelvic myoneuropathy case IMO, and you should try the SP before giving up.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the Stanford/Wise-Anderson Protocol and Dr. Anderson are all located in Northern California. Which is about 500 miles away from me. Do you know of any good PT here in Southern California?

Dr. Zietlin is really expensive and does not take insurance, which sucks. I think he handles prostatitis and infertility only, its under his name at the suite he works at. Maybe its some sort of business he does on the side on his own. None of the other doctors have anything under their name.

Send me your email address and I'll tell you the Dr's name.

All I can tell you about Zeitlin is that he does not answer emails and has not put a link to my websites on his website, even when asked several times. He won't link to us, but does link to the moribund Prostatitis Foundation. I do not think that is a good sign.

My honest opinion is that your money would be much better spent in Stanford.

If you don't want to go to Stanford I found a PT in Mission Viejo at West Coast Physical Therapy. Her name is Mary Cox and is listed in the PT referral section of the forum. I am going to Stanford because I want a thorough evaluation. She told me that she has done only one man and usually works on woman but she may be worth a try if you do not want to travel to the Bay Area.

I just saw an Infectious Disease Specialist. Second time I've been yelled at by a doctor. I was asking him about Leukocyte Estrase = 2+ and Bacteria=OCC, in urine after a prostate massage and he said thats not bacteria its inflammation. How many times do I have to say it...blah blah blah. But I got him to do 1 last mycoplasma/ureaplasma test.

hmmm thats interesting. I guess he has 2 sites and offices. This is the one I was refering to. http://www.drzeitlin.com

latte, thanks. I just ran into a PT office will checking out this Infectious Disease Specialist. There is a lady there that does evaluate the Pelvic Floor Muscles. So I have an appt on Tuesday. I will let you guys know how that goes.

When I brought it up with the Infectious Disease Specialist, he nodded, saying he didn't think that was my problem, he said there would be pain. He called my problem Non-specific Prostatitis, probably caused by congestion of the prostate.

But regardless, I am going to get the pelvic area examined by the PT.

I've had great success with Dr. Zietlin. His thinking and treatment protocols are pretty close to Dr. Shoskes from what I can tell.
