Can’t find suitable alternative to Prostate PQ product

Post by LivingRoomFanatic »

A number of weeks ago I had a setback and it’s kinda hanging around whereas before it would be gone within a couple of weeks. I generally only take PEA and Duloextine daily.

I’m going to start taking Quercetin and Graminex again to see if that helps me as I feel it did before. Unfortunately the type of tablet I used to take doesn’t get shipped to the UK any longer (Prostate PQ) and I’m stumped as to what to use now. They show up on the UK site but when you go to checkout they tell you it’s not possible.

I have done my rounds to try and find something accredited but I wonder if this is a US thing as I can’t see any of these marks on the UK stuff. It’s stressing me out a little which is why I’m here to ask for help so I can try and reduce my tension.

If push comes to shove I was thinking of picking up a Quercetin product which has bromelein and no bulking agents, and a seperate Graminex product which has no bulking agents. I’m not really sure what else I can do.

Many of the Quercetin products I am seeing are derived from Sophora japonica L, is this ok?

Sophora japonica is a common source of quercetin, and should be okay. I'm not sure of the UK situation regarding phytopharmaceuticals. Does the UK have a very respected vitamin brand that has been around for ages and everyone knows about? Otherwise I recommend this from UK Amazon:

Please report back on what you buy and also on how it performs. Thanks.

Thanks very much for the rec. I’ll look to pick that up unless the below is ok.

Solgar is quite a good name in the UK. This is their offering. But no certification available that I can see:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Solgar-Quercet ... 2NKRC?th=1

I’ll pick up some bromelain and Graminex. I’ll find sources of those easily.

Admin comment: Good choice. Let us know how it all performs.

Fortunately most of my pain and discomfort has subsided on its own already. I’m still experiencing some minor wiggly electricity type stuff in the perineum. That had mostly been absent for a long long time and I’m keen to try and eliminate it again as, until this flare happened, I was able to do light weight training at the gym and play PlayStation because it was no longer present. Those things benefit my mental health.

Will the Quercetin / Graminex help the perineal symptoms? They arrive tomorrow and I’m just wanting to be sure prior to opening and taking them they are effective for that issue? I’m hoping it ‘winds down’ again by taking the tablets. When I first tackled CPPS I threw Duloextine (still take), PEA (still take), taladafil, Quercetin and Graminex at it so I’m not sure what specific thing or things worked so well, lol

I just want to get back to where I was, as I was doing great, and able to enjoy my interests without too much restriction.

Thanks again for your input. Always very much appreciated.

Admin comment: yes, quercetin and Graminex could definitely help! No harm in using them at all, and possible big benefit.
