Upper Cervical Instability CCI/AAI and Frequent Urination

Post by fobo »

Hi, I have been away for a long time since my issue with frequent urination was mostly off and never to cause any big trouble. In fact sometimes I even noticed how I could hold the urge to go even longer than other 'normal' people, while other times needed to go frequently. Strange right. I think it is called neurogenic bladder.

Long story short, I got Covid last year and 2 months later it unfolded my case of what is known as Craniocervical Instability, Atlanto Axial Instability or Upper cervical instability in general. Major symptoms were chronic daily headache, head pain and tachycardia. My biggest error was trusting a local chiropractor who said he can help me, after he cracked my neck a couple of session, I essentially went bedbound, almost disabled since a year ago.

I learn that symptoms of upper cervical instability are also lumbar pain (which I now have a lot), frequent urination, urgency, anxiety, but of course most common ones are headaches and dizziness. These are also frequent in another rare condition known as occult tether cord, but CCI is far more common and OTC is not yet studied enough. Essentially, my point is if you have frequency/urgency and even mild low back pain, look to your upper neck also. NEVER EVER go to a traditional chiropractor. The only safe chiropractors are NUCCA and Atlas Orthogonal.

Anyway, hope this helps someone in the future. Your friend,
