Dexamethasone through Cryo Laser Phoresis
Dexamethasone through Cryo Laser Phoresis
Hi,
I'm considering to get an "injection" of Dexamethasone with Cryo Laser Phoresis.
Actually is not an injection, because this technique allow to introduce the medication in your body without needles or invasive procedures.
The medication is frozen and with a particular laser is introduced in your body.
I'm considering it because is not invasive, but I'm wondering if could be helpful a high dose of Dexamethasone concentrated in the prostate and pelvic area.

It could be helpful. It would be interesting to hear the outcome. Please tell us what happens.

Re: Dexamethasone through Cryo Laser Phoresis
My worries are that the med could mess up with the pudendal nerve and/or the pelvic muscles.
Do you think there’s no risks?

No, there's no risk of that. I can't find much about cryolaser phoresis on the 'net, but it does seem minimally invasive.

Yeah no much info in english, but there are a some info in Italian.
Here’s the procedure described in Italian (with Google translate you should get the gist of it)

Re: Dexamethasone through Cryo Laser Phoresis
Just a quick update. I decided to try another route first.
I saw a neurologist who confirmed that i don't have pudendal neuropathy, but it's CPPS.
He confirmed to continue with Duloxetine 60 mg per day and he added another med called "Limbitryl" in Italy.
Every Limbitryl's pill contains 12,5Mg Amitriptyline + 5Mg Chlordiazepoxide. I have to take 1 pill in the evening for the first week and then 1 pill in the morning and another one in the evening.
He thinks that this second med will relax better my Pubococcygeus muscle (levator ani) and combined with internal and external physiotherapy + my own stretching I could possibily have a good relief and avoid the Criolaser therapy.
We'll see what happens...

Re: Dexamethasone through Cryo Laser Phoresis
Eventually I did the Criopass procedure on September 16 and unfortunately it didn't help at all... on the contrary I had a worsening which scares me a bit.
In the past I tried Beclometasone suppositories and instead of helping they usually worsened the symptoms. Maybe I'm sort of allergic or intolerant to cortisone or I don't know...
What do you think? I hope to not have damaged muscles or nerves with this high dose of cortisone.
For now I think I'll stick with internal and external pt and Cymbalta 60.
I've also ordered Pelviwand and I'll start working my internal trigger points by myself on regular basis.
I'm starting also meditation to cope with anxiety caused by this terrible health issue. Sometimes I can't send away the bad thought that this thing is incurable
Admin comment: FWIW, Prednisone (another steroid) made my symptoms worse too when I tried to cure my CPPS with it years ago

Hi Admin,
thank you for your comment. How long took the symptoms worsening to end and back to a "normal" situation?
thank you
