I'm not usually keen on foods being a noticeable game changer as far as medicinal properties go. But I've found that eating a lot of blueberries (fresh) seems to act as a pain reducer. I didn't make the association right away, but after feeling quite a bit better an hour or so after eating a cup, or half cup of blueberries, I've noticed I've started to feel better.
Anyone else notice this with blueberries?

Re: Blueberries
Could be the antioxidants. You'll probably get the same feeling if you drink a bottle of pomegranate juice (look in the cooler section of your local Safeway, Vons etc).
You can get that same flush of healthy feeling from juicing carrots etc. These days you can buy juicers relatively cheaply.
