Here is what I needed to know but didn't one year ago. Perhaps this can help new problem people here.
My problem was caused by anxiety, resulting in muscle clenching (in my case below the belly button) , resulting in chronic pain to the clenched area and radiating to neurologically connected areas.
This muscle problem caused:
Lower pelvis ache, urination burning, ache in penis head, ache in testicles, ache in kidneys.
Split urine stream, hesitation before urination, frequent urination (but small amounts), night urination 1-3 times an evening.
Anti biotics only helped until my body adjusted to the anti in flamatory effects. 30 days in most cases then the effects were gone. Levaquin caused incredible joint damage which cleared up 4 months or so later.
The problem was exacerbated dramatically if I had: alcohol, coffee, chocolate, or spicy food (hot wings anyone?).
I read "A headache in the Pelvis" by David Wise and began stretching the tensed muscle area. I also realized this was not freaking cancer and just a simple muscle condition (so I relaxed).
Lastly, I saw a therapist specialized in trigger point work. While this caused major flare ups initially it gave me great relief after the first few sessions.
Once stabilized, I found complete relief when confronting the psychological issue which had been playing in my head for years (in this case my father died and I reconnected with family members).
While I still have issues and some pain, they really seem to flare when stress issues arise or if I have had any of the taboo foods stated above.
I owe everyone on this board a lot and hope this can help some of you new people.
Thanks all and peace.
