Re: CP/CPPS linked to Anxiety Disorder
This is not surprising. Also keep in mind that according to psychiatric journals the average age at diagnosis for (most ) anxiety disorders is about 33. (This is in the US). Of course, many arent diagnosed until their late 30s -40s so (depending on the quality and quantity of care where this article...

Re: Prostatitissurgery.com, Arnon Krongrad, Christopher Eden
Odd, from onset Aug 2011, to theoretically operation treatment (and much better??) Oct 2011, to the April 2012 result. I've (we've) read of years of people on opiates, neurontin, trips to China etc for years. Surgery less than 2 mo from onset... and no letup from the ultra excitable cell phone screa...

Re: Prostatitissurgery.com, Arnon Krongrad, Christopher Eden
Was Krongrad (or one of a few others in the country/world) that does this the coach's doctor? Sorry I can't remember reading from the article other than treatment or possible prostatectomy.

Re: Prostatitissurgery.com, Arnon Krongrad, Christopher Eden
Is Prostate removal anywhere near a mainline treatment for a University coach or anyone like this? Outside a few Dr's you rarely hear of it. Nearly everyone here (with prostatitis diagnosis) goes thru a year or two of sitz baths and antibiotics at least. He must have something sure show up on imagin...

Re: Looking for a urologist in Cincinnati
Hi, I'm new to this site. I'm from Cincinnati as well and looking for a physical therapist. Currently I am uninsured but able to receive free medical treatment only through the Barret Center at UC hospital. I am scheduled to see a Urologist in October but don't know if he will be a believer in the ...

Re: Looking for a urologist in Cincinnati
I wouldn't waste much time with urologists once you have been cleared of cancer, etc. Don't know what your profile is but if you and your brother are big bicyclists/ exercise fans it would pay to read a bit on this site. Dr Shoskes mentioned above seems to be more clued in than most urologists.

Re: Aaron Filler in Santa Monica
Some follow up regards a previous post . Unsuccessful outcomes from the pne surgery, such as the one below, are more the norm rather than the exception. The exception from the norm is any significant reduction in symptoms for a lengthy period. There are millions of men experiencing pelvic pain sympt...

Re: Pelvic Floor Botox in/near Chicago/Midwest
they don't do Botox injections for pelvic pain. Well, if your specialist Dr. D. has sent you to a place that doesn't perform the process that is already a bad sign. You may as well try the Wise Clinic and give that a shot for a year or so. I think Dr. Wise has used Botox trigger point injections af...

Re: Update on Urologic Pelvic Pain Syndromes
The epidemiology of CP/CPPS suggests that, in some men, it may progress along with other systemic diseases. In the National Institutes of Health (NIH)-sponsored Chronic Prostatitis Cohort study, men with CP/CPPS were six times more likely to report a history of cardiovascular disease than age-match...

Re: Warning: KETAMINE
Is it just crude forms of manufactured ketamine for street use or pharmaceutical grade stuff that causes problems? I would just forgo nerve blocks (x ray guided or unguided). Any look of the people reporting back from blocks (pudendal and others) usually show they can be very expensive, and mostly p...

-Appears some gal named maj fell on her tailbone and is in horrible pain, having bad thoughts for 1yr and 3 children. Feels she needs surgery. Anyone heard of Dr. F? . Believes (like most) she has nerve damage. and the condition"PNE" is the cause of her pelvic pain. She feels she needs a &...

Re: Aaron Filler in Santa Monica
More machinations with Dick and Jane. Or.. er Dr X. These comments are from sites that are favorable to surgery. There are only about 8 or so docs in the world doing the vast majority of the PNE-type procedures. Unlike other surgeons I have never read of anyone receiving improvement from Dr. X. If t...

It has the advantage of being artistic, a bit romantic, in touch with yourself, listen to your body etc. Should the newspapers, articles, Huffpo etc see or get into the "gloved finger and triggerpoints on the left obturator internus at 3 o'clock to the prostate", trigger point maps, etc I ...
